Hours of Operation
Our three center locations operate during the following hours:
Daily Schedule: Monday- Friday
AM Session: 8:00 a.m.-11:00a.m.
PM Session: 12:00p.m.- 3:00 p.m. -
Center Holidays
The state preschool program will be closed on the following days:
*Martin Luther King Jr. Day * President's Day *Spring Break *Memorial Day *Veterans Day *Thanksgiving Day and the day after *Winter Break and New Year's Day *Labor Day -
Medical Information
We are required under the Child Care and Early Years Act to have a copy of each child's immunization record or a statement of religious or conscientious objection to immunization.

CODELA makes sure that food that is being served is aged appropriate. We serve food that match children’s abilities reduce spills and food waste, build self-confidence and reinforces self-help skills.

CODELA makes sure that food that is being served is aged appropriate. Children’s fine motor skills of grasping, pinching, and hand- eye coordination develop significantly in early years. These skills are needed to feeding and serving. We serve food that match children’s abilities reduce spills and food waste, build self-confidence and reinforces self-help skills.
Menus are posted in the entrance on the parent boards as well as, inside on the classrooms.
Our main kitchen is located at Jaboneria CDC (7413 Jaboneria Road Bell Gardens CA, 90201). All meals are cooked at this location. Food is delivered from Jaboneria CDC to Carmelita CDC and Hawthorne CDC daily.
All meals include a well-balanced meal and snacks each day.
